Our Heritage
Facade Master’s roots trace back to Cheng Shouzhen (1858–1939), a master of purple clay art whose minimalist designs in vermilion clay teapots gained international acclaim. Cheng’s craftsmanship laid the foundation for the global recognition of Chinese ceramics, and his legacy continues to inspire our work.
Facade Master integrates the best of Chinese and Western ceramic traditions, blending time-honored techniques with cutting-edge technology. Through collaborations with domestic and international artists and architects, we have developed a diverse range of terracotta and ceramic products for architectural applications that reflect the spirit of craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
Our Facility
Facade Master is located in the PANELTEK CERAMIC FACTORY in Yixing. Our production base spans 105 acres and houses a state-of-the-art facility with 60,000 square meters of production space. Our advanced manufacturing capabilities include three architectural terracotta/ceramic production lines, capable of producing up to 1 million square meters of terracotta products and 1 million meters of terracotta baguette annually.
We combine traditional techniques such as extrusion, dry pressing, slip casting, and wheel throwing with modern glaze technology, using Yixing’s high-quality clay resource to create customized ceramic art for spatial applications.
Key Production Facilities:
- Raw Material Storage Yard: 50 acres of storage with 150,000–200,000 tons of raw materials for consistent supply.
- Automated Mixing System: A fully automated German system for precise material mixing and environmental protection.
- Forming Equipments: Equipped with German extruders, dry pressing machines, and a specialized slip casting and wheel throwing workshop.
- Multiple Drying Facilities: Four chamber dryers and six-layer horizontal dryers capable of drying all types of special terracotta and ceramic products.
- Glazing Equipment: Two 140-meter-long glazing lines with up to seven specialized glazing machines, creating unique textures and finishes for each product.
- Roller Kilns: Three specialized roller kiln lines with advanced capabilities to produce a variety of custom-shaped and ultra-thick terracotta and ceramic products.
