The Ningbo City Planning & Exhibition Center
The Ningbo City Planning & Exhibition Center is a city living room displaying the development history, construction achievements and future vision of Ningbo city. It integrates the interaction between government and people, academic exchanges, city forums, patriotic education and other functions. It is a bridge connecting Ningbo and the outside world and an important window for external communication in Ningbo. Inspired by the long celadon culture of Ningbo, the facade material of the building is the green glazed terracotta panel. This is not only the natural expression of the celadon material prototype, but also the basic color of the natural environment. The building is integrated into the surrounding green plants in this most direct and effective way. The special shape of terracotta panel looks like a ribbon flying in the sky, showing Ningbo as the most open gateway on the Yangtze River Economic Belt and one of the most important portals on the "Maritime Silk Road".
